Sir if hypertension comes. Use tablets for both it did not come to normal. Other reports are normal. But total cholesterol is 246. Ldl us 166 HDL 37. Triglycerides is 215. After using cholesterol tablet at night BP tablets also. Using cholesterol tablet BP is normal 130 by 90 120 by 80 110 by 80 is it a real hypertension or due to cholesterol problem my age is 30 weight 62 height 5.4.i confused with this. My doctor said cholesterol raises BP that's why BP is affected if cholesterol is normal there is no use of BP tablets slowly is it possible to stop BP tablets. kindly advise me. I am working in government school as a teacher I have no tension.

BP has no connection with Cholesterol, These are two different Problems, Controlling Cholesterol will not correct your BP problem. You need to take Diet control, Exercise, reduce weight if you are obese and if necessary take medicines to control your BP.
