Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. In diabetes peripheral neuropathy is a common occurrence, causing either burning or tingling and numbness in feet and legs. To reduce that you need to achieve strict blood glucose control with fasting < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. Therefore, apart from appropriate medication, it is necessary to take restricted diet, that gives exact calories based on your ideal body weight (62 kgs), extent of physical activity and blood glucose levels. Plus if need be certain medication like Methylcobalamine and / or pragabalin may be beneficial. Thanks.
