Namaste Doctor I am suffering from typhoid from last over 1 week and taking medicines from 16 September which is prescribed for 15 days.In my microbiology report s typhi O is up to scale of 1/320 positive+ and same s typhi H.what does this mean. Though I am taking medicines and no fever is going on only at midnight to morning very mild fever and headache day along .also in starting days I had fever during all night 2 days. I had ulcer in inner lips area and around outer lips like rashes. Want to know this is due to fever are medicines? I am taking below medicines NGR-DSR EVOVITAL CALPOL 650 MG KEVIXI-AZ GET ONGYME syrup ARE THESE GOOD MEDICINES ARE SHOULD I CHANGE?

You are suffering from acute typhoid fever/enteric fever. And also having rashes and oral ulcers, which are typical symptoms of typhoid. Yes, the medicines you are taking are fair enough and should be able to bacterial load from your body, provided you are taking medicines regularly. You have to take it for atleast 2 weeks. And repeat widal test to be done, after 2 weeks to check the titre.
