Dear User Thank you for your question. Just for your knowledge, Blood pressure reading are well dependent on positions (lying, siting or standing) while measuring BP. Thia shouldn't worry you, because we have a normal range of BP and not any "absolute" BP recording. So it can vary. (but not much, Systolic above 140 which is consistent for days may be due to hypertension along with diastolic more than 90). To conclude your concern, these variations in blood pressure have well defined physiological reasons. So don't worry and have a record of BP measurement before reaching to any conclusion after consultation with your clinician. Finally without knowing the reason, age and other medical history, I cannot impart mucg details to you. Hope my answer got your problem solved. Feel free to write, if more needed.

Irrespective of which position you measure the blood pressure, it is the normal range that we want to maintain. So, even if there is change in the readings in different positions, our objective is to monitor it regularly and go for follow-up with the doctor. One can control the BP with a holistic approach towards health. Thus, simply depending upon the doctors and the medications is not wise. Exercise every day for at least 30 mins (add yoga including pranayam and meditation) and eat only healthy food while avoiding all types of outside food. Sleep well and relax more.
