RCT if done properly by specialist (endodontist) last for years. In your case, either it is done by quakes or may be sometimes RCT fails due to various other reasons. Now you have two options left, one is re - RCT of the same or extraction of the tooth. Visit your dentist ASAP. It may be saved.

Hello Lybrate user, since you said you are having pain after one year, I would like you to have an xray done for the concerned tooth. Since dental pain takes place in a region sometimes it is not possible to find out which is the culprit tooth. With xray we can easily find out the teeth causing trouble. If root canal treated tooth is the cause of pain you left with two choices either re -root canal treatment or removal of the tooth. I would suggest you to keep this tooth and go for re-root canal. -root canal treatment
