After doing workouts in gym is it necessary to cool the the body by sitting in a cabin filled with icepacking. I heard one of the gym in chennai does it. CAN YOU explain the mechanism.

It is not ideal to sit in ice packs and all you have to do is just sit where you get air and let the body cool off naturally. Using ice can be dangerous especially when the body is heated up with exercises
