No there will be no sensitivity so dont worry and go for scaling.
Hello Lybrate user, it is true that our teeth becomes sensitive after scaling, but that lasts for few days. We usually recommend our patient to use any toothpaste for sensitivity available in market for 7 days and then switch on to regular toothpaste. Just because you are afraid of your teeth becoming sensitive you don't do scaling you will end up losing your teeth. Scaling removes the bacterial deposits present on our teeth which causes infection in our gums and gradually our teeth becomes lose. Hope this helps.

Bad breath k bahut saare reasons hain. Like intraoral due to poor oral hygiene, gum infection or deposit on the tongue. Or can be due to extraoral reasons like nose, throat or gastric problems. So get a complete examination done for proper treatment. Scaling k baad sensitivity ho skti hai. Depends on the amount of infection present in the gums. Use any sensitivity toothpaste for that. If it still persist ask your dentist to apply desensitizing agent.
scaling se sensitive nhn honge.....senstivity to already hogi.....agr nhn hai toh nhn hogi......please apply a sensitive tooth paste like sensodyne, ya colgate pro relief ya thermoseal
Sensitivity is a minor problem after scaling. It improves if your use a good desensitising toothpaste
