I am consuming 3-4 pomegranate from a month because I am suffering from IBS-D and it give me relief. But today I got grey black stain on my teeth. I am so scared. Is due to pomegranate or something else?

If the stains are removable/partially removable with simple brushing, it is all right. You can achieve better if you immediately rinse your mouth after having pomegranate each time. Remember, fruit that would�stains�your clothes will do the same thing to your teeth. So there is nothing much to worry. If the stains are tenacious, you can get it removed by professional cleaning and polishing by a dentist. Dear Lybrate user, the grey black stain is not due to pomegranate. It could be something stuck on your teeth or a developing cavity which you hadn't noticed before or it could be a normal external stain on the tooth that will come out after scaling/professional cleaning. Consult your dentist for a checkup.
