Q1. Hi, I am aged 33. I do have 4 unused tooth in all the four edges lower and upper. The upper two tooth started decaying slowly and the lower tooth's often filled by food particles. I am planning to remove all the four tooth. Could you please advise on that? Q2. I am suffering from bad odour I am doubting it is due to the decayed tooth. Q3. I would also like to do deep cleaning of my teeth. Any suggestions on that? What is the time interval that I can go for deep cleaning for the next time?

Hello Lybrate user, from question I can infer that you are talking about your third molars or wisdom teeth. Yes, they are quite notorious, they are of no use, they doesn't erupt properly and are more prone to caries (decay). So it is very good idea to remove them. There can be numerous reason for foul smell from your mouth most common is poor oral hygiene i.e. The plaque and calculus deposited over teeth surface. So I would recommend If you are not in pain due to your third molar do this deep cleaning first and in the next week you can undergo the procedure to remove the third molar. Also start by brushing twice daily and using a good mouthwash for a month. Hope this helps.
