Hello patient, according to Ayurveda curd is said to be strotoawrodak. So instead using curd, use chanch (buttermilk) without fat+roasted jeera powder+ sainda namak. In daytime after lunch. It gives best results in weight loss.

Curd and Jeera are good for health individually. However there is no evidence to prove that they burn fat. In fact there is no food / combo / medicine / herb that can burn fat. In scientific terms fat is like petrol/fuel for the body which has to burnt through exercise + sensible food habits. There is no other way.
