Dear Lybrate User, Sometimes on taking certain medicines like Tinidazole and Metronidazole, there occurs a metallic taste in the mouth, but that's nothing to be worried of. You must always brush your teeth at night before going to bed as the food remnants promote bacterial fermentation and that causes a bad taste in the mouth. Also you may use a mouthwash like Colgate Plax or Chlohex, once a day for 2 weeks and then feel the difference. For a more detailed investigation, you may visit a dentist. Happy Smiling!
