Do HBA1C And then we can use medication which are better than gemer 1 Stopping is not a good idea as sugars tend to rise again and its nit good. Check renal fumction in the present scenario.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. It is good to know that blood glucose is well controlled and does not go up even after eating "2 doodh pedha" It wolud be better if you check HbA1c% and see if it is <5.9% then one can say you have no diabetes now. Whether you should stop medication is a difficult question to answer. My suggestion is maintain your healthy lifestyle, including diet and regular exercise, then stop the medication for about 2 weeks and check the blood glucose levels. If levels remain within normal limit then probably one might conclude there is no diabetes. Do try and come back after wards. Thanks.
