I have bilateral sub total eardrum perforation since few years. Is it necessary to get it patched up. I am able to manage the hearing loss the graph shows 40 deicble starting level and have mild tinnitus most of the time I feel hearing near normal excepts few days. Are there any long term damage of leaving it as it is.

Yes probability is high if you left uncure there are chances that hearing loss increase. Please refer Ent Dr. and know the root cause. For hearing loss and tinnitus you can use heating aids which help you to stop the further loss. Regards
