Sleep hygiene along with medications are important. 1. A fixed time to sleep everyday 2. Take food two hours prior to sleep. 3. Avoid caffeine
and heavy food in night 4. Use bed only for Sex and sleep. Don't lie in bed more than 15 mins after waking up. 5. Exercise regularly in the evening. 6. Don't think about daily matters while on bed. If such thoughts come to mind. Write it on a diary and deal with it the next day.
