Hi lybrate-user, Follow these guidelines to loose weight Eat Six small meals rather than large three meals Engage in regular physical activity Increase fiber in the diet tends to be more filling and stays satisfied longer Choose whole grain cereals like oatmeal, jowar, bajra, whole wheat products instead of refined and processed products Eat at least 4-5 servings of cut fruits and vegetables instead of juices Drink plenty of water throughout the day at least 3-4litres/day Use vegetable oil in recommended amounts. Recommended Allowance (½kg/month) Avoid red meat and organs meats. Prefer lean meats such as skinless chicken, fish Reduce intake of sugar and sugar containing foods Limit the amount of salt to the food during cooking and avoid processed and preserved foods.
