Hi, I am 34 years old and I am suffering from sneezing and nasal discharge for many years. Last year I got septoplasty done on the recommendation of an ent doctor. For around 9 months after that, I was better. But since last 1-2 months, the problems have surfaced again with almost same intensity. I feel heavy itching nostrils, sneezing and nasal discharge almost everyday. Sometimes the situation persist for whole day. I consulted one ent specialist around 2 months ago who suggested me to get a" serum ige level" test done. He told me that based on that test, allergy shots would be given. Then I got the idea that may be I need to go to an allergy specialist for cure to my problem. But before that I have some questions, 1. Are there allergy shots which can give relief for sometime. 2. What is the most relevant speciality of doctor in my case. 3. Is there a complete or permanent cure for this problem. 4. How long would be the treatment. 5. Are there any side effects.
