I am a employee of armed forces. My problem is that after rest for 2/3 hours sitting or sleeping when I tried to walk the lower surface of my ankle feel acute pain for 15/20 steps .after that I felt normal .suggest me for permanent remedy.

Hi lybrate-user The problem you have is a kind of inflammation in the joints of your ankle I suggest that you go for a blood test to determine the RA factor, ESR and uric acid levels after which you can start treatment Till then I would suggest that before you go to sleep let your feet rest in warm water for a while then massage your feet with some coconut oil and then rest so that there will be good circulation and this will help reduce your problem however long term treatment is necessary since you're saying that you're in the armed forces and I presume that your feet and legs might get strained For further help kindly contact me

Looks like you are developing plantar fascitis. Freeze a 500 ml bottle of water overnight and roll it under your feet next morning. Do ankle movements-move it in a circular manner clockwise and anticlockwise, pull ankle upwards and downwards for a few times and then place your feet on the floor.
