I am a 32 year old woman and over the past 6-8 months developed a condition, where I get lots of acne and boils around the time my periods are due - they usually stay a week or two before the period and go away after they are over. Can you tell me what kind of doctor can I consult?

Hello lybrate-user I understand your concern. It is very common for acne to increase right before the periods. But in your age group it is a bit uncommon. I will need to know more history and see your photo in order to know the type and grade of acne. There are many good medicines that can control oil and prevent acne. You may start a private consult for that. Meanwhile use a good gel based sunscreen with atleast 30 SPF to protect your skin from further damage. Take care :)
