Please do not follow any of the short term or fad diets. Especially when you are diabetic, it is always better to have a balanced nutrition and lifestyle changes. Begin with small changes such as avoiding junk and fried foods, processed foods, salted and sugary foods etc. Then add 45 mins of walking or exercise to your routine. Ensure you are eating real foods such as pulses, red rice, ragi, millets, eggs, curd etc and lots of vegetables and fruits. Always eat limited portions but eat a variety of foods through the day. Most importantly, drink at least 3 liters of water per day and ensure you are sleeping 6-7 hours.
