I am suffering from heel pain since many months. Dr. Advised me to go for health check-up. On finding low Vit D3 level (around 7), Dr. advised me Calcirol twice a week. But I started taking vit. D3 800-1000IU daily as I felt Calcirol can lead to high build up of Ca. My blood calcium is OK, however my age is 42 yrs. Should I take Calcium supplement along with with VitD3.

Hello lybrate-user Went through your post, generally oral vitamin D doesn't cause hypercalcemia because it is only 60000 units and can be taken for 6 weeks. However heel pain is generally feature of enthisitis of planter facia and not low vitamin D, Low vitamin D causes generalised myalgias Regards.
