My mom (60 years) had severe pain in stomach and cough. After blood & urine test, doctors prescribed some antibiotics. After 2 days, her pain and cough got reduced however she stopped responding and became numb. Doctor advised CT scan of the brain and here is the finding. Small acute non-hemorrhagic infarcts in left high front-parietal lobes. Now after looking at the CT scan report, doctor has advised to see Physiotherapist. Can you please advise if the numbness is due to antibiotics and if the Physiotherapist has to do anything for a patient with numbness.
