My mother is suffering from back pain since 20 days. MRI shows that L2 fracture with severe stenosis at L2/L3 and L4/L5. Please suggest me whether I go for physical therapy or surgery.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user, Sorry to hear this. Fracture at her age may be due to osteoporosis which is a severe deficiency of vitamin D. As far her spinal stenosis is concerned the treatment is based on multiple factors like age, her exact symptoms, findings of clinical examination, other medical conditions etc. Therefore it is difficult to suggest further treatment without all this information.
