Dear Lybrate user, Please wait for atleast one week before resuming your exercise routine. It should take about 2 weeks to heal completely. The stiffness will decrease overtime and get back to normal. When you eat and the food particles get trapped in the area of operation, you should rinse with warm saline water and therefore try to keep that area clean. This will be beneficial for the healing process. Feel free to ask for further assistance.
