Am 61y 6m. Male. Having Blood sugar but well within range. Take 'Glycomate GP 0.5' twice daily before meal. Pressure is normally normal, but once (couple of years back) I was given Telma-20 to be taken after breakfast. Am regularly having it. From the last two days, I am feeling weak; feel tired after the least work. Anything serious?

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. I have gone through the details mentioned. I would like to your actual FBG< PPBG & HbA1c% and BP levels. Then only I will be able to comment. Ideally in a good control patient Fasting should be <100 mg, PP 160 to 170 mg & HbA1c%<7. BP should be 130/80 mm Hg. So please let me know all the details. Secondly also give details about dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise. Based on those details I will be able to give some suggestions. Thanks.

Please go for a routine checkup with your doctor. Its always better to go for an annual health checkup with your doctor even if everything is better. Some routine tests like CBC, ESR, blood sugar with HbA1c, thyroid, liver and renal profile, urine routine etc can be done to ensure all is well. Do not anticipate anything but be careful and follow a healthy lifestyle. Follow up regularly to check BP and sugar.
