Hi Lybrate user Hole in the tooth indicates caries which may be at initial or delayed stage. Treatment of this would either require simple filling or a RCT depending on the progress of the caries. I would suggest you to visit dentist at the earliest. Regards.

Either it can be filled with any material like special type of cement or can be covered by a crown... but before that if it is infected then it may require other tratment.
