Hello All, My face skin is black and except face all are too fair. So I checked? up in 2002 and Dr. said its Acanthosis (due to blackness of my face, under arms, neck) and the advise me for insulin checkup. I checked my insulin (fasting), at that time my insulin was high (Hyper insulin). But after 15 years my insulin level is now (2017) in control (ie. 3.6 normal is 3 to 25) even after controlling my face skin is as it is. :(also last month Dr. advise me to test for HbA1c by HPLC. This is also in control. Could any one please suggest me the best solution to overcome this (ie. Blackness of face, neck, U arms). Can it curable?
