I am 28 years male serving in Indian railway. I have sitting job. About 3 months ago I have operated fistula. Doctor told that it happened due to constipation. He suggested me syrup duphalac to take it for about 3 months. I regularly use it .I want to know from you that regular use of medicine for constipation is harmful to health? If I stop taking medicine than constipation problem again occur? Please advise me.
