I have started treatment for erectile dysfunction. When I was investigated thru various tests, it was found that my testosterone is 276 only in the age of 29. Subsequently, I was given therapy for the same. However, after a few weeks, there was swelling at my feet. When I consulted my doctor, he said that this was not due to treatment. Therefore, I visited a physician who prescribed iron tablets and swelling reducing tablets. When I consumed those tabs, there was lesser swelling. But swelling still is there. I have been prescribed the following for ED:- 1. Kimixide 2. Vegalis 20 3. flax Pls help as there is heavy swelling.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. I have gone through the details given. The selling in the lower limbs is one of the side effects seen due to testosterone intake. It does lead to water retention. So if that drug is still continued then edema will continue to be present. Further, it is better to see if you have any issues with thyroid gland (hypothyroidism), because that can also cause the swelling. Also check your BP. Thanks.
