I've been having these terrible leg crams which start midnight and after 5 -10 min they can go and I peacefully go to sleep. I don't have diabetes because I just got it checked it was 91. I don't take any kind of medication but I do have hypothyroidism and I've been advised to take those hormone pills. It has happened twice I just want to know the possible reason for the cramps.

Usually the reason for muscle cramps is heat. Please drink enough water. Also, you can supplement with high potassium foods like coconut water and bananas
