Rupture in Quadriceps femoris is serious and treatment may vary from conservative/physiotherapy to surgical procedures depending on severity and level of rupture. I will advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon regarding MRI of your thigh and then its findings will decide the further course of treatment.
