Hi, for a clarification I gave a blood sample for HIV test got the report. Report is like this. Screening test for antibodies to human immunodeficiency virus 1 & 2. Observation: Red colour dot not observed in human immunodeficiency virus 1 & virus 2 area. Control dot is prominently seen. Inference: sample is non reactive (-ve) with HIV-1 and HIV-2 Please let me know What is the result of report. Is any other tests I have to do. Awaiting for your valuable reply. Thanks.

You do not have HIV you do not need any other report.

Yes dear yusuf your test is absolutely non-reactive till date. The window period of hiv is 90 days. So if exposed period is less than repeat test after exactly 3 month. There is western blot method also to confirm diagnosis.
