Dear, cavities form due to the action of bacteria (microflora) on the left over food in your mouth. Therefore the best way to prevent cavities is to keep your mouth absolutely clean at all times by regular brushing, rinsing and flossing. Some people are prone to develop dental cavities and they have to put in extra effort to keep good oral hygiene. For cavities which have already developed in your mouth you must consult a dentist urgently so that he can do the needful. If left unattended for long you may have to loose tooth/ teeth or undergo root canal treatment. Therefore please consult a dentist. Hope this helps. Regards.
