I was working in a dusty area for sometime and got cough and cold, post recovery my sense of smell become very week. Any bad or good smell is barely sensed by me. I consulted a doctor and he suggested dust allergy, but his medication didn't work. It was about 10 years back. Recently I consulted with an ENT specialist as I was getting frequent bad smell inside nostrils. After MRI scan, he diagnosed mismatch of nostril hole size and my right side of nostril hole is distorted and smaller. There is a small skin growth and a poleep. He recommended a minor surgery but couldn't comment on by smelling ability. I am more concerned over the lack of smell and frequent bout of bad smell (doctor commented that may be caused by infection). Appreciate your advice to get rid of the issue. Thanks in advance.
