Experts I am a guy of 27 from new Delhi India. 2 weeks ago on 12th of May I had a protected sex with a masseuse in a spa. I used a condom all the time. And I'm 99% sure it didn't break since when I pulled it out my semen was still inside the condom. All of it took about 10 mins. Now I'm in the third week and I'm experiencing a little fatigue and cold (running nose) and sore throat. I believe these symptoms are referred to early symptoms for hiv. But I need your advise in this. I need to ask a few questions 1. What is the risk level of transmission under these circumstances? 2. Should I go for hiv test? I'm really worried and need your support urgently Thanks.

Hi, thanks for writing in, welcome to the forum. The symptoms you are having, in all likelihood, is not related to HIV. Get a p24 antigen test done to relieve yourself of this worry. Also get STD panel of tests done to check for other bacterial/ viral infections just to make sure and feel safe (as HIV is not the only STD). In all likelihood, all of these tests must turn out normal. Based on the details provided by you, there is little to no risk of transmission. Take care!
