Hello lybrate-user. It's nothing to worry about, you can fill the tooth again. It's better to consult the previous dentist.

First you need to visit your dentist who may advice you to get an xray of your broken tooth to understand it's present health condition. If it is healthy then you can choose options like composite restoration, veneer or crown. You may ask your dentist which one is the most suitable for you. If there is any deep decay or periapical abscess (ie, an abcess at the tip of your tooth root) with pain then you will require a root canal treatment.

Dear Lybrate user, you should get the filling replaced as soon as possible. All dental fillings and prosthesis have a life & they're bound to wear off. 7 years is a fair amount of time that the filling lasted. Consult your local dentist and get a new one. Till that time, avoid biting onto anything directly using front teeth as the loss of tooth structure and filling might put excessive forces on the remaining structure.
