Allergies have frequent recurrences...In spite of being on treatment. But it is important u continue on allergy stabilising drugs in long term as they decrease the severity, intensity n frequency of these recurrences. For the flare ups, soft steroids can be given to make eye comfortable Le in addition to good lubricants. Cold compresses also help. It is best to continue treatment under one consultant...easier to titrate n alter treatments.
