Hi, my wife delivered a baby normally (vacuum though) on 2nd April. Doctor said there were lot of stitches. Can some one please comment, till how many days we should refrain from intercourse? Also, any other point which you think we should take care of while having the first few intercourses post delivery? Any suggestions are highly appreciated, thanks in advance.

lybrate-user ,u should wait for atleast three months before resuming to normal sexual life, also make sure you use a contraceptive so that she should not get pregnant soon. And most important is she should continue to take iron vitamin and calcium supplements especially if she is feeding the baby.
