I'm facing cavities issue. It is mostly due to less saliva generation in the mouth. I had previously consulted one doctor and he just confirmed it but had no solution for it. I do not smoke or chew tobacco. I've no other disease or under any medication. I was NEVER treated with chemo. As far as I remember I'm facing this issue from at last 7 yrs. Do you have any suggestion on this? PS- I do take good care of oral hygiene (brush 2ce, floss, mouthwash - non-alcoholic)

One of the main reason for less saliva generation s less water intake or dehydration (in your case I feel so, as you said, you r not on any medications. Still I feel you should check for hypertension and hypothyroidism or any other systemic disease. (1) Treat the underlying cause first (2) drink plenty of water (3) pilocarpine or cevimiline drugs are beneficial in increasing the production of saliva (4) xylitol chewing gums aid in preventing cavities too.

Well there are salivary substitutes in market easily available in chemist shop. They help you to maintain proper hydration of your mouth.
