I am 41 years old. On july 4 suddenly last tooth breakdown into half (left side). There is no pain, but doctor say it should be removed and he removed. Does it pose a danger to other tooths. I am a smoker. What is the reason for breaking?

There is no such problem on removing a broken tooth provided it has been removed fully. It doesn't affect other teeth. The only one reason for breakage of your teeth is cavitation. Try to maintain a good and proper oral hygiene and regular check ups to your near by dentist and yes it would be always better for your gums if you quit smoking.
