Im 22 years old female. Im having knee pain for the past one week. There is no pain during rest but it increases while walking and climbing up n down the stairs. I used pain relief ointment but no relief. How can I treat this condition?

Hello Lybrate user. As you mentioned. First of all note down activities which are pain aggravating n stop those activities for a while .do apply ice packs for 20 min, twice a day. Increase intake natural sources of calcium n protein .do static n slr exercises for quads n hamstring stretch. Put towel roll under your knee try press it down using knee n it's surrounding muscles hold for 15 sec, 15 repetition at time, repeat thrice a day. Consult me online if doesn't work. Thanks.
