I have this hearing loss in my left ear which has tinnitus. My right ear is fine. No tinnitus, no hearing loss. It has been this way for over a year now.

According your symptoms of hearing loss since one year, you should go for an audiogram. Pure tone audiometry .to find out what type of loss. This only can lead to right treatment. .please get a full check up by a specialist. .it can be a simple wax in your ear or a nerve conduction deafness. You need to go through hearing tests.
