Undergoing root canal treatment Pain not stopping from a week after taking medicine regularly Maybe some infection or anything Need help. Taken pain killer n antibiotic both still its not stopping.

sometimes depending on the causative bacteria prevalent in a person's mouth pain can exacerbate during root canal treatment. ..it will take 4 to 5 days for the infection to subside. do warm salt water rinsing 4 to 5 times daily ...it helps to reduce the Infection. only if continued pain persists we need to look for other teeth for the cause of pain

Hello, The intensity and duration of pain varies from Patient to patient. In case there is severe infection in the tooth prior to root canal treatment, then it's takes a few days for the pain to subside. Kindly share your problem with your dentist ,he or she will surely help you out.
