No, it it is not likely to spread by contact. Transmission may be genetic, however in some patients it can appear without any history of leucoderma upto 3 generations. However, children of leucoderma parent/parents do have higher chance of getting it especially in the leucoderma gradually increasing and gradually involving majority body areas.
