Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. It is advisable to undergo arthroscopy of the knee if it is a grade 3 medial meniscus tear and if symptoms like recurrent swelling, locking etc are present. Meanwhile you should continue with knee rehabilitation but if there are symptoms which are present, consider arthroscopy as it is a simple and a short procedure with good encouraging results. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. You can also discuss your case and treatment plans with me in a greater detail in a private consultation.
