Hello when should we take birth control pills? Should we take it immediately after intercourse or can we wait. I forgot my period date. I guess we had sex jst a week or 2 before my period and were on protection but have a small doubt about it. I want to wait for 1 or 2 week to check my period. Can I wait or is it risky. What if I get my period now and miss it next month. What happens if I take pills next month. What are the side effects of taking pills. Please help me with this.

Birth control pills should be taken from the 5 th day of periods, now you have to wait for few days, and if you miss your periods then do a urine pregnancy test to confirm for pregnancy. Side effects of pills are there if taken continuously for a period of 3 to six months, like bloating, acidity, wt gain etc.
