I have vitamin D deficiency and it's very very low. And doctor has advised me some injection and sunlight exposure. My question is it good or bad to get sunlight during afternoon and if bad then what time will be the best? Thanks.

1. Expose yourself to sunlight for 15-20 minutes daily in the morning 2. Take Milk, cheese, egg yolk, Fish (salmon/mackerel/ trout/sardines/tuna) cod liver oil, Mushroom, cereals, orange juice. 3. If you have deficiency of Vitamin D you have to take Vitamin D supplement 60000IU/week fo r 3 months after consulting physician.

Hello, The best time to get the sunlight exposure is between 8 am to 11 am,as later you might tan your skin more. Egg yolks,mushrooms,fortified orange juices,whole grains,fortified dairy are some high vitamin D sources,keep your calcium intake high simultaneously.
