Hi Doctor, I am 42 Years old and suffering with high cholesterol and high blood pressure, as per recent test report Total Cholesterol is 277, LDL cholesterol is 183 and Non-HDL Cholesterol is 221.45, however AlanineTransaminase (SGT) is 45, as I am already taking LOSAR-50 tablets daily one since last 06 month, Now I need medicine advice and food diet advice to control the said symptoms.

Hi your lipid profile is abnormal. You should see the doctor for general check up and to start medicine for high cholesterol. I will advise you to start regular walk 30 min daily and strictly follow low salt, low fat, low sugar diet.

You need to start with lifestyle precautions and diet modifications. 1) Start daily brisk walking, begin gradually, increase to 40-45 mins daily. 2) Bring dietry changes, avoid fried and high sugar food. Take a detailed diet consult from a dietician. 3) quit smoking and drinking. 4) Get your sugar and thyroid tested as well. Repeat the lipid profile after 4 weeks if still high you will need medication.
