Hi I'm 30 years working male, recently I started preparing for some exams to up my career, but whenever Im reading, start feeling sleepy within few minutes even if it's daytime, I do not feel this way when I read novels (I can read for hours together if it's good). I don't know what to do. Tried splashing cold water, changing posture etc, please help it's very important to crack those exams.

Its basically attitude building.You hv to create a motive,which you hv already.Take the study word out of your mind,try n enjoy it.Get a strong coffee,aft a full sleep of maybe an hour and start off.Split your study into a 3 page trip...take a 10 min rest..memorise what u just read.Analyse.Set a target on daily basis.

lybrate-user You have to make your goal stronger, If you really want to reach your goal then your activities will be directed towards your goal with full commitment Your goal will motivate you You will have to creat interest in the subjects and some curious thing as you are interested in novel reading. Then you will think about better life in future. If you perceive success, you will be more motivated, then your sleep will go away. Some sort of anxiety is also requirred to achieve the goal as we do in exam.
