This is a very normal feeling. You are feeling empty spaces, left after the tartar has been removed in between the teeth. Some of the gap will be compensated but if the recession is substantial than this gap will be permanent .Still scaling is quite helpful in reducing the rate of recession of your gums further, caused gradually by plaque and calculus accumulation. For sensitivity you can use some desensitizing paste. You can apply this paste on sensitive teeth for some time after brushing with it. This practice will help in due course of time.

Dear Madam You should do a thorough oral prophylaxis from a good dentist and then ask the dentist to do polishing after that. So that the tartar reappearance is reduced and sensistivity also gets reduced. If you still have sensitivity you can use a desensitizing toothpaste and an organic mouthwash. Brush and floss especially that area everyday thoroughly. Do ask if you stil hav any queries.
