I do 12-13 hours of reading. Is there a higher chance of regression or dry eyes after surgery. And I do high strength demanding yoga and strenuous physical exercises too.

Hi, reading and doing exercise is a good habit, but do it in moderation do not over do. Reading continuously for more than 30 mins put strain on your eye muscles. They need some rest and relaxtaion. So take a break of 2-5 mins after half an hr atleast, read in good light and correct posture. By following these simple rules your eyes will be healthy and no fear of dry eyes.

Reading for long hours is not related with eyestrain if you have normal eyes, you need more energy & for that you will have to take balanced diet along with milk ,vegetables or dry fruits if you can afford.
